Spatial and Temporal Variation in Reference Evapotranspiration and Its Climatic Drivers in Northeast China

چکیده

Reference evapotranspiration (ET0) is an important component of the global water cycle, and its long-term change directly influences regional supply demand balance. Under background change, investigating spatiotemporal trends in ET0 response to climate great importance for conservation rational utilization resources. Based on daily data from 91 meteorological stations during 1960–2017 Northeast China, this study calculated using Penman-Monteith method analyzed primary driving factors. The results show following: (1) During 1960–2017, annual China showed a nonsignificant upward trend at rate 1.45 mm/10a. A mutation point was detected 1993. From 1960 1993, experienced significant decrease (p < 0.1), while air temperature 0.01), which indicated appearance evaporation paradox. This because remarkable drop wind speed sunshine duration played role reduction ET0. 1994 2017, paradox disappeared. (2) significantly positively related altitude. In lower altitude regions (<500 m), generally decreased, higher areas (>500 displayed trend. (3) multiple regression analysis, relative humidity factor 1960–2017. At diverse altitudes, climatic factors influencing were different. high-altitude mainly influenced by humidity, low altitudes m).

Spatial and Temporal Variation in Evapotranspiration

Evapotranspiration represents the combined loss of soil water from the earth’s surface to the atmosphere through evaporation of water from the soil or plant surfaces and transpiration via stomates of the plant. In agricultural production systems these two losses of water represent a major component of the water balance of the crop. If we examine evapotranspiration over time throughout a growing...

Impact of spatial-temporal variations of climatic variables on summer maize yield in North China Plain

Summer maize (Zea mays L.) is one of the dominant crops in the North China Plain (NCP). Its growth is greatly influenced by the spatial-temporal variation of climatic variables, especially solar radiation, temperature and rainfall. The WOFOST (version 7.1) model was applied to evaluate the impact of climatic variability on summer maize yields using historical meteorological data from 1961 to 20...

Climate change impacts on spatial-temporal variations of reference evapotranspiration in Iran

Global warming due to greenhouse effect is expected to cause major changes in climate of some regions. The change of climate is likely to have a profound effect on hydrological cycle. Evapotranspiration (ET, as the major component of hydrological cycle, will affect crop water requirement and future planning and management of water resources. This study was conducted to investigate climate chang...
